About Me

Hey folks!

Lets give you the deets about me, shall we?

I have been married for almost fifteen years and have a teenage daughter who has begun to embrace Mom's love of Twilight.  My husband has even watched all of the movies more that once and is a proud "Team Alice" fan.

I am huge Twilight fan. I'm actually a vampire fan first and foremost. I saw Twilight before I actually read the books, which I think turned out to be the best thing because I wasn't disappointed by the changes that were made from book-to-film. I read all four books in four days and survived off of caffeine while I worked in the banking industry during the day.

Don't worry...I never handled money, just paperwork. I'm now a stay-at-home wife, since my company closed its doors in 2010. Damn economy.

Shortly after I got my fill of the books, I knew I needed more. So I set off to find other information and happened upon Stephenie's website. That led me to the Lexicon, which in turn led me to fanfiction. I've been hooked ever since. As a result of my love of reading, I hardly ever watch television, only NCIS and The Vampire Diaries.

So to sum it all up, my life was forever changed in 2008.

I began writing my own fiction by entering a contest. I hated my first attempt, and it has never made it onto my profile on FFn since. I didn't give up, though, and entered another contest before I took a stab at writing a full length, multi-chapter story called The Lucky Ones. It ended up being nominated for FotW on The Lemonade Stand, and although I didn't win, it was a huge honor to just be nominated.

Since then, I've entered a few more contests, one of which result in a second full-length story called Storm Clouds and Silver Linings: The Complete Story. It was an expansion of one of those contest entries.

As for my designs, I am completely self-taught and have only been making banners since 2012. In that time, though, I have made over two hundred banners, covers, icons, and much more. I began working with Fic Central just a few months ago and have thoroughly enjoyed expanding my talents that way.

I also love that it has allowed me the opportunity to read completed stories that I may have missed the first time around.

If you can't tell, purple is my favorite color and roses remind me of my grandmother and that's why they are so prominent in my life.

Anyways, that's about it about me.

Hugs,
